Received your message David

Thanks for looking up the site. Do you notice any connections? One of my
long distance relatives, one Sir Arthur Smout, was at one time chairman of
ICI. he would have been more nearly related to professor T C (Christopher)
Smout, prof of Scottish social History, Uni. of Edinburgh.  Have you come
across him at all?

Graham

more details later
